These creamy, dreamy no-bake truffles combine crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and freeze-dried strawberries for a quick and delicious dessert perfect for gatherings and sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo Cookies (about 14 oz / 400 g), finely crushed
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) freeze-dried strawberries, crushed into powder
  • 1/4 cup (30 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (170 g) white chocolate chips (optional, for dipping or drizzling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place 36 Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form (about 2 cups/200 g). Alternatively, crush in a sealed bag with a rolling pin until no large chunks remain (3–5 minutes).
  2. Prepare the freeze-dried strawberries: Pulse 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries in the food processor until a fine powder forms (1–2 minutes). Set aside.
  3. Mix cream cheese and vanilla: Beat 8 oz softened cream cheese with 1 tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy (1–2 minutes with a hand mixer).
  4. Combine Oreo crumbs and powdered sugar: Add Oreo crumbs and 1/4 cup powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture. Stir gently or mix on low speed until fully incorporated and thick but pliable.
  5. Add freeze-dried strawberry powder: Fold the strawberry powder evenly into the mixture until a pink tint forms.
  6. Form the truffles: Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, portion about 1 tablespoon (15 g) of mixture and roll into smooth balls. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Makes about 30 truffles.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  8. Optional white chocolate coating: Melt 1 cup white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each. Dip or drizzle over chilled truffles, then refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
  9. Serve and enjoy: Arrange on a plate or store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Notes

Let cream cheese soften to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps. Chill truffles for at least 1 hour to firm up. If mixture is too soft, add more crushed Oreos. For white chocolate coating, melt gently and stir often; add a teaspoon of coconut or vegetable oil if too thick. Store truffles in a single layer or separated by parchment paper to prevent sticking.
