A quick and healthy snack featuring crisp apple slices drizzled with a creamy almond butter mixture and topped with nuts, chocolate chips, and shredded coconut. Perfect for a nourishing treat that feels indulgent yet wholesome.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large crisp apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), cored and thinly sliced
  • ½ cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped toasted nuts (almonds or walnuts)
  • 1 tablespoon mini dark chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut (optional)
  • Light sprinkle of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Core and slice them into thin, even rounds about ¼ inch thick.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup creamy almond butter, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, and ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon. Stir until smooth and slightly runny. Warm gently if needed to drizzle easily.
  3. Lay the apple slices flat on a serving platter, slightly overlapping to create a nacho effect.
  4. Drizzle the almond butter mixture evenly over the apple slices.
  5. Sprinkle chopped toasted nuts, mini dark chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and a light pinch of sea salt over the top.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the crisp texture and creamy drizzle.

Notes

If almond butter is too thick to drizzle, warm it slightly or add a teaspoon of warm water to loosen. Slice apples thinly for best texture and presentation. To prevent browning, toss apple slices with lemon juice or prepare just before serving. Toast nuts lightly for extra flavor.
