  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the cucumbers lengthwise into thin strips about 1/8 inch (3 mm) thick using a mandoline or sharp knife.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese with fresh dill, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Lay one cucumber slice flat on a cutting board. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture evenly along the entire length of the cucumber slice. Add optional extras like smoked salmon or chives if desired.
  4. Starting from one end, carefully roll the cucumber slice into a tight spiral. Place the roll seam side down to keep it closed.
  5. Arrange the roll-ups on a serving platter, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
