A quick and easy homemade pink drink featuring frozen strawberries, creamy coconut milk, and brewed green tea, perfect for a refreshing summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened coconut milk
  • ½ cup (120ml) brewed green tea, cooled
  • 12 tablespoons simple syrup or honey, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes, or as needed
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Additional frozen berries like blueberries or raspberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the green tea by steeping 1 green tea bag in ½ cup (120ml) of hot water for 3-5 minutes. Remove the bag and let the tea cool completely (about 10-15 minutes).
  2. Add 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries to your blender. Optionally add a handful of frozen raspberries or blueberries for more berry flavor.
  3. Pour in 1 cup (240ml) of unsweetened coconut milk.
  4. Add 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste), 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract if using.
  5. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
  6. Add about 1 cup of ice cubes and pulse briefly to chill without crushing the ice completely.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime juice as needed. If too thick, stir in a little more brewed tea or coconut milk.
  8. Pour into glasses or mason jars and garnish with fresh mint leaves or whole berries if desired.

Notes

Use frozen fruit to chill the drink naturally and reduce the amount of ice needed. Let brewed tea cool completely before blending to avoid dilution. For a seed-free drink, strain the mixture before adding ice. Adjust sweetness gradually to taste.
