This cream cheese caramel apple dip is a quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing dessert that combines cool, tangy cream cheese with gooey caramel and crunchy toffee bits. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a simple treat, it comes together in under five minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 45 medium apples, sliced (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • Optional: additional caramel sauce and toffee bits for topping

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Take the cream cheese out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting. If in a hurry, microwave for 10-15 seconds on low power until soft but not melted.
  2. Beat the cream cheese: Place softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium speed, beat for about 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down sides halfway through.
  3. Add powdered sugar and vanilla: With mixer on low, slowly add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in toffee bits: Use a spatula to gently fold in 1/4 cup of the toffee bits. Reserve the rest for topping.
  5. Spread mixture into serving dish: Use spatula to spread cream cheese mixture into an even layer in a serving dish (such as a 9-inch pie plate).
  6. Drizzle with caramel sauce: Warm caramel sauce slightly if thick (about 10 seconds in microwave). Drizzle generously over cream cheese layer.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits: Top with reserved toffee bits. Add extra if desired.
  8. Chill for 10-15 minutes: Refrigerate dip to let flavors meld. Meanwhile, slice apples and arrange on a platter.
  9. Serve: Bring dip to table with apple slices and a small spoon for serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. Warm caramel slightly before drizzling for a glossy finish. Toast toffee bits in a 350°F oven for 3-4 minutes for extra crunch. Slice apples right before serving to prevent browning, or toss in lemon water. This dip can be made ahead up to step 7; add caramel and toffee topping just before serving. Store covered in fridge for up to 3 days.
