This creamy caramel apple dip with toffee bits comes together in just five minutes with simple ingredients. It’s the perfect quick dessert or party snack that tastes like you spent hours on it.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup caramel sauce
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup toffee bits
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt (optional)
  • Apple slices for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it out at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fluffy. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl.
  3. Add the caramel sauce, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium-low speed until combined and smooth. Do not overmix.
  4. Fold in the toffee bits gently with a spatula until evenly distributed. Reserve a small handful for topping.
  5. Taste and adjust: add a pinch of flaky sea salt if desired, or more caramel or toffee to taste.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes (optional but recommended) to firm up slightly.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle reserved toffee bits and a light pinch of flaky sea salt on top. Serve with apple slices.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps. Use thick caramel sauce for a better texture. The dip can be made up to 2 days ahead; add toffee topping just before serving. For a dairy-free version, use vegan cream cheese and dairy-free toffee bits.
