These Easy Apple Cider Mimosas with a cinnamon sugar rim are the perfect fall cocktail, ready in just five minutes with only four simple ingredients. A crisp, bubbly drink that turns any morning into a celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup apple cider, chilled
  • 2 cups prosecco or champagne, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Apple slices for garnish (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the cinnamon sugar: In a small shallow dish, combine 2 tablespoons granulated sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix until evenly distributed.
  2. Prep your glasses: Wet the outside rim of a champagne flute or wine glass with water or apple cider.
  3. Dip the rim: Press the wet rim into the cinnamon sugar mixture at a slight angle, twisting gently to coat evenly. Tap off excess sugar.
  4. Add the apple cider: Pour 1/3 cup chilled apple cider into each prepared glass.
  5. Top with prosecco: Slowly pour 2/3 cup chilled prosecco or champagne into the glass, pouring down the side to preserve bubbles.
  6. Stir gently: Use a long spoon or chopstick to give one or two gentle stirs to blend.
  7. Garnish and serve: Add a thin apple slice to the rim or float on top. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill all ingredients and glasses for best results. Do not make ahead; bubbles fade quickly. For a non-alcoholic version, use sparkling apple cider. For a sweeter mimosa, stir in honey or maple syrup before adding prosecco.
