- 2 oz vodka
- 1/2 cup canned peaches in syrup, drained slightly
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey or simple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice
- Orange slice and peach wedge for garnish
- Optional: a drop of orange food coloring
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: Open the can of peaches and drain about half the syrup. Measure out 1/2 cup of peaches. Squeeze fresh orange juice if using fresh fruit.
- Combine in the blender: Add the peaches, orange juice, vodka, honey or simple syrup (if using), and ice to the blender.
- Blend until smooth: Start on low speed and increase to high. Blend for 30-45 seconds until the ice is crushed and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust thickness with more orange juice or ice as needed.
- Taste and adjust: Taste the mixture and add more honey if needed, or more orange juice if too boozy.
- Pour into a glass: For a smoother drink, strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Otherwise, pour directly into a glass.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with an orange slice and a peach wedge. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and add sparkling water or ginger ale. For a spicier version, add a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cayenne. Chill the glass in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving for best results. Do not over-blend to avoid melting the ice.
